When you first visit our office, Dr. Norman holds a short informal meeting to learn more about you and what you want to accomplish with our dentistry. This meeting also gives us the chance to introduce ourselves and our dental philosophy. Before you enter our office, you can learn more about who we are by reading our staff bios below.

Dr. Neil O. Norman

Patients come from all over Idaho, Montana and Washington to have Dr. Neil O. Norman work on their smile. He is a friendly, community-minded professional who is always interested in learning about the latest dental technology and research.

Dr. Norman averages almost 100 hours of continuing education a year. In addition to classes on dental technology, he graduated from the Schuster Center for Professional Development and has completed postgraduate work in cosmetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He has also attended Walter Hailey’s Dental Boot Kamp. Aside from being the eternal student, he also presents dentistry seminars to area professionals.

Dr. Norman is a member of the American Dental Association, Idaho State Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has fellowship status at the Academy of General Dentistry and is an active member of the Crown Council, an organization which promotes oral health and community service through charitable work.

Our Dental Staff

Highly trained and exceptionally skilled, our dental staff works with Dr. Norman to make sure your visit is quick and comfortable. Our dental assistants are experts in the technology we use and are very knowledgeable about the procedures Dr. Norman recommends. Our hygienist specializes in preserving your dental hygiene with a gentle touch. As life-long learners, the entire dental staff participates in continuing education seminars so they can stay on top of their profession.

	Carol Melun Carol is our office manager and has worked with Dr. Norman since 1993. She took a 3 year course from the Center for Professional Development, along with Walter Haileys Boot Camp in Salt Lake City, Texas, and Boston. She has also attended AGD classes in Chicago and New York City. Carol is the mother of 4 grown children and loves the outdoor Idaho lifestyle.
	Judy Lewis Judy is our Registered Dental Hygienist. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Assocation and has held several offices for the Idaho Dental Hygienists Assocation. She attends North Idaho Dental Hygiene Study meetings, and holds professional licenses in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Judy attended the Pacific Lutheran University for 2 years and graduated from the University of Oregon, Dental School. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, and takes many continuing dental education courses. She is the Co-Chairman of the American Cancer Society for Life in the Silver Valley and a volunteer for ACS Reach for Recovery Program. Her and her husband, Chuck, enjoy traveling, skiing, and bike riding.
	Jean Norman Married to Dr. Norman for 30 years, Jean is another treatment coordinator. She is a graduate of Walter Hailey's Bootcamp and has completed a 3 year course at Schuster's Center for Professional Development, as well as expanded duties certification courses. In her time away from the office, Jean enjoys hiking, skiing, camping and biking, and says that Idaho is a great place to live.
